Certified Health Coach, founder of Simply Vibrant Health, and mum of three busy boys.

I'm passionate about helping busy, high-achieving women simplify their health — so they can feel calm, energised, confident, and in control of their everyday lives. Not perfect. Just genuinely, sustainably well.

I know how it feels to lose your sparkle.

Like many women, I know what it's like to try to do everything "right" — and still feel like the things you used to do for your health aren’t working.

Once you start researching, the overwhelm hits fast. Conflicting advice and endlessly caring for everyone else means your own health quietly slips to the bottom of the list. It starts to feel unachievable. Not a priority. Something you'll get to eventually.

But here's what I've learned: that's exactly the moment you need to lean into your health — not push it aside. Because when your health habits are solid, the rest of your life flows more easily.

I believe real progress doesn't always come from doing more. It comes from doing the small things consistently. When you return to the basics — nourishing food, enjoyable movement, a supportive mindset, quality sleep, and meaningful connection — health starts to feel achievable again.

I truly believe that getting the basics right is 80% of the battle. No amount of cold plunging or superfoods will fix your health until the foundations are in place.

Today I work with women across New Zealand and online around the world, helping them create realistic routines that fit their real lives. My goal is to help you to feel energised, calm, confident, and in control. There will still be stressors, and chaos but you will be much better equipped to deal with it.

Jo's Story

I've always been drawn to health and wellness— particularly nutrition and exercise. After high school I studied a Bachelor of Science majoring in Food Science and a Bachelor of Business majoring in Marketing, before going on to work in marketing and innovation roles often in food companies across New Zealand, Australia, and the UK.

In my 20s I was a cardio junkie. Running, gym classes, sweating it out — I loved it. But when I became a mum in my early 30s, with two boys under two and a half, everything changed. Getting to the gym felt impossible. I felt tired, overwhelmed, and like I'd completely lost my sparkle.

When my second baby was nine months old, I knew something had to change. A friend introduced me to 20-minute at-home HIIT workouts that I started doing during nap times. At first it was about losing weight. But something unexpected happened.

I realised the real gift of exercise had little to do with how I looked — it was entirely about how I felt:

✔ More patient with my kids

✔ More energy throughout the day

✔ Mentally sharper and focused

✔ Calmer, more organised, more me

That one small habit changed everything. I started craving movement — not out of guilt, but because of how good it made me feel. I added strength training, learnt which foods genuinely fuel my body, and began discovering how simple habits, done consistently, create lasting change.

Now at 42, with three busy boys and a life that's fuller than ever, I feel stronger, clearer, and more energised than I did in my 30s — not because life got easier, but because my habits support me through it.

That journey led me to train as a Prekure Certified Health Coach and become a member of the Health Coaches Australia and New Zealand Association (HCANZA).

Then we build simple habits and systems around nutrition, movement, mindset, sleep, and connection — routines you genuinely enjoy and can realistically maintain long-term.

Finally, we focus on consistency — because this is where lasting change actually happens. Mindset and mental fitness are at the heart of everything I do, because knowing what to do is rarely the problem, staying consistent when life gets busy is.
